Default Great Day At Pigeon

Had a great day at Pigeon today. Got there nice and early annnnnnnnnnd.........nothing, until about 1030, then the bite was on at about 20ft just NW of the boat launch. Between and my buddy we brought in

3 Jack - Mostly small
33 Walleye - Bunch of smallies, a couple well over 50cm and a bunch of mid range b/t 2-3 lbs.
1 Burbot - 4lbs.

All in all a great day, great weather and great water. Lots of algae still in the water but all broken up.

Yeah it was funny, when my buddy, who is newer to fishing, brought it in I said "I'll bet you don't know what that is". I was surprised that even being on the water at 7 we got no bites until about 10.
