Default Boyle area ice .

Drove on North Buck today easily 10-12'' of ice, caught 2 decent jacks in 8-10 FOW kept one for the pan , all in all not a bad day nice and sunny not much wind. good to finally be able to pull the truck up beside where your fishing, so much more convenient!

Heard that some are driving on Long lake also. 10" to 12" does not quite do it for me. Needs to be a solid 12" plus for me to drive on, Next week if the weather warms. Kinda sucks that they lowered the limit for perch on N.Buck to 10. I think if they wanted to help the lake they should have lowered the limit to 5. The lake was not doing very good last year as copared to other years and needs help badly. One of those lakes that the fishery may colapse. On another note tho. On more than one occasion I saw white fish on the camera, Maybe it will turn out to be a great lake for white fish some day. Never ever seen one there before or even thought they were in there.
