Default walleye size vs time of year

Anyone noticing the eyes are starting to plump up nicely? some of the poor things I was catching in the NSR back in june were just skeletal in appearence. I'm hoping to break into some double digits but thats just wishfull thinking.

even the 20'' smalleyes are getting some girth and are starting to put up great resistance.

is it just me, or dose fall bring bigger fish?

i agree with ya man. i have caught some walleyes that seem to have a big head but small body and recently they seem to be much better proportionate. maybe they are like bears puttin on the feedbag before hibernation.lol
