Reality is the oil have a young team that will make some mistakes and hopefully capitalize on the mistakes of their opponents.
That's sports for you, if you can't handle it get into bird watching

Go Oilers.

HUH? LOL Yeah, Dac's confused. He asked the fellow what he would call having to suffer five penalties in a row and he replied: poor discipline. What's Dac's reply? Fellow isn't whining or complaining. He answered Dac's question, quite correctly IMHO.

How many games does Morris get for the cheap shot and following attack on Whitney? (Granted, all he really did was bareknuckle Whitney's helmet. Proof positive that once you go through the flames org, your stupid for life )

Looked to me like Whitney stopped Morris from getting to Nail.
Good for Whitney.
Someone tell Nail not to wave his fingers that way after scoring a goal.
May have looked like he was taunting Morris.
Kid is good, but has a lot to learn.

Nail is a little enthusiastic but he's still a kid. If Morris can't control his temper when he loses maybe HE needs to grow up a little.

Seems to me that if that was the case then Morris has a lot to learn also.

You don't attack someone once the game is over.

Nail could have given him the finger and he should know better than to react like a hooligan.

Wasn't the case at all. If you watch the replay, Morris gives Whitney a sucker punch as Whitney skates by. Then follows him in and gets to yapping at him.

Stupid for life lol thats good, fact is there are a ton of ex Flames and lots of other ex NHLer's who have chosen Calgary as there permanent homes, I give ex Oilers credit for being smart and jumping on the first train out of town when there career is over....

So you are saying that cowtown is the place where people that used to be good players go to die?

I concur!

The no trades haven't been an issue, way over blown.

I'd be more concerned if I had to pay marginal players such as Hemsky and Horcoff 5 and 6 million dollars per.

that's easier to swallow when you have a a lot of talent around them. i'd be a lot more concerned with a aging core, a couple decent young guys and nothing in the system. you tell me who has more to worry about. not picking but it's just the facts. i wish the oilers were the blackhawks but they aren't there yet. i am sure feaster and the others in the office wish they weren't where they are in terms of where the team is headed. nothing personal to you or who you cheer for, just the truth.

Flames actually have a good bunch of prospects in the system, I hear this statement alot from Coiler fans but I don't pay much attention to it because I realize they probably don't spend much time checking out our prospects anyways.
