I'm looking for a good place to take my wife and two kids fishing this weekend. We have a 12' Aluminum with a 9.8HP motor. So we are looking for a place not too far from Edmonton for an afternoon. The fishin doesnt have to be out of this world or anything but decent luck would be nice to keep my 3 year olds attention...lol Thanks in advance for the suggestions!! Hopefully not somewhere super busy either but being a long weekend I think that thats almost impossible..lol
I was just out at pigeon lake last weekend and caught roughly 35 walleye of decent size on the thorthwest corner of the lake where you can also launch your boat free of charge, its a small provincial park where if you wish to, yoiu can camp. There was boats stacked up but, if you sit in amongst them you will pull fish off of the 20 foot drop there. Drop the lure to the bottom off the edge of the boat and bob ur jig.
