The revenge of David Assman
The Saskatchewan motor license issuer rejected his request for a vanity plate because his name was deemed offensive I bet Letterman would approve of his solution.

Kind of funny but smells a little bit (pun intended) like piggy backing off the original Dick Assman, his relation, who gained more than 15 minutes of fame a few years ago before passing away recently. He was on Letterman etc.

Hmm, license plates...
Assman and Grabher.
Sounds like things I can get behind..

This license plate stuff is BS. One person in the process brings their own bias to the table and rejects a vanity plate. I have seen several plates here in Alberta that have hunting and very direct firearms references such as 30-06. I tried for both 270WSM and 375HH and both were rejected because they were considered too violent.

That really is BS. Wouldn't you need to know what 270WSM is too be offended? Pure insanity.

I saw a Saskatchewan plate on a lifted truck that said "Below Me". Funny that it would have made it past the plate police.
