Default Bow practice in a Park??

I am sure this is a silly question, but I figured I would ask anyway, if I am going camping this weekend at a Provincial Park, can I bring along my bow and practice somewhere safe??

I will do more research, but any info would be appriecated.

Thanks.

Yes you can but bring a spare change of clothes for the trip to jail

Nope, all weapons must be encased or disassembled in a Provincial Park.

Yeah just found it in the reg's...

See I knew it was a stupid question.

Provincial Parks and Recreation Areas
Except for Wildland Provincial Parks (see Vehicle Restrictions - Wildland Provincial Parks below) or for the limited seasons provided in WMUs 624 (Cypress Hills Provincial Park), 936 (Blackfoot Recreation Area) and 841 (Lakeland Recreation Area), it is unlawful to hunt, or to carry or discharge a firearm in a provincial park or recreation area without a firearms carry and discharge permit.

Otherwise, all firearms must be unloaded, encased or dismantled. In the case of Blackfoot Recreation Area, hunters will need to obtain a "Firearms Discharge Permit" from the office at Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area prior to engaging in any hunting related activity inside the recreation area.

What you quote here only seems to pertain to FIREarms.

No weapons of any sort. Weapons under the Act I believe include pellet guns, slingshots, bows, etc. I haven't seen it in awhile, but I have seen Conservation taking these thing away when they are being used in the Park Campgrounds.
