You have to shake your head when you think about how a two year old can break into the pentagon computers but they still cannot tie their own shoe laces at five. Maybe it is a result of parents getting excited when they learn to poop in a bowl at three years old.

Did you have a party line?
When I was 3 and 4, I would pick up the phone and talk to whoever was on there. I would tell the nice people about my new truck and bulldozer I had in my sandbox.
Mom was hissing mad at me, the neighbors thought it was funny.

Adam and Eve had the first phone. Number was 281 APPLE.
The party lines had a distinctive ring for each user. Mine was 0 0 2 short.
