Default Cabin fever...

...seems to be striking the AO population severely. The number of religious argument threads, conspiracy theories, suspensions for pot-stirring.... It is becoming increasingly difficult to hold my tongue...erm, finger. June 16 is still a long way off yet; and, I realized to my great frustration, it's on a MONDAY, this year. Grrr, I say. I think we all need a few days of warm sunshine, to at least get us out for a walk, or to work on the truck, or to work on a garden...SOMETHING.

I agree. I've been accused by a few of inspiring Keyboard Kamikazis.

I'm almost tempted to stop posting.

Don't forget about all the PSA's ...

really??

I'm here for the outdoors, guns, fishing, reloading, etc posts. Not traffic, your wife, parking/driving/lights (Blah, Blah), your personal issues.

If you are generally looking for help on any given issue then fine but come on already....some people just want to up there 10,000+ post count, not to mention that there are always too many to start a confortation about any given topic.

Well its a good thing we have sections for fishing, guns, ammo etc......no one is forced to read general discussion so I dont understand why those who dont like it come and post complaining

I leave myself logged out most of the time now. Now if I want to post it takes extra effort.

I find myself getting less and less 'attached' to this site. There's a handful of people here with specific agendas and it's really ruining it for me. The mods are doing an admirable job. This handful knows how to just skirt the forum rules.

Had to cancel a camping trip that was going to start yesterday. I'm especially cranky now......

They're great...haven't had them in AB, though. And they're probably still under snow.

Or complain and get threads deleted when things turn on them or their buddies (who are suspended).

On any thread, they blither, blab, drown out everybody else, never engage in debate, but constantly post their views. It's like listening to an agenda driven, menopausal, sour hag.

Seems a fair number of threads getting deleted when they get it handed to them.

I've been watching Aussie 4 x 4 expedition videos on YouTube on account of you. Check out the specs on this Patrol; 95 litre main and 80 litre secondary fuel tanks feeding a 3.0l turbo diesel. Droool. Too bad the sport-ute model doesn't have the fuel tanks of the chassis cab.

Just be thankful its something that will pass fairly quick, iv been laid up for over a month and still have quite a while to go and its almost impossible to enjoy the nice weather when it shows itself.
But I guess the pills I have take me to la la land which makes me forget about stuff sometimes lol.......

Yeah I get where you are coming from and that side of it is frustrating. Best way to deal with those kind is ignore them, as hard as it is for us to do....

I've already gone through my tackle boxes and camping gear and replaced / upgraded what needed to be done. Now it sits waiting to be used. The week of June 16th when I will be going on my trip seems close yet so far away at the same time.

And this continued snow doesn't help

They sure do.
Everybody thinks they're right when the only facts they see are the ones that support their opinions.
I've never been one to think I'm always right so sometimes it's easier to see those with the shrill voice and the finger wag of righteousness.

"And leave us like the empty shell of of a crab all dry and cracked on the beach." Gotta say , that's more than some deserve.

You left out the part about the burning sun and the oil slick.
