Default Heritage Lake (Morninville)

Hi folks,
Has anyone fished Heritage Lake thru the ice lately? I am thinking of trying it will a couple of small kids sometime this weekend. Catching anything would be great, so I was planning just to try for the small perch I have heard are in there. I've never fished it before so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hip

bring lots of maggots and mealworms...theres lots of hunger perch in there... if your not having luck go to hasse... you can get the odd nice size trout too... but again bring lots of bait

Thumbs up Try Star

The fishing today was ok there but had to put up with trout bait raping my hook. There smart in that lake. I would also suggest you try a dark green lure because the trout are eating the cray fish.there.
Good Luck
