Default Giving out info!!!

I had a relatively new member of this forum(37 posts) PM me requesting detailed information about the ice conditions & the quality of fishing in the area thus far. Normally(to my way of thought), after have been provided with that information, the individual would minimally acknowledge that the info had been received and appreciated. Nada!!!! I do not normally provide detailed information like I did, except he indicated that he was taking his kids out. What a prince!!!!!

If you only help people to be acknowledges for it, you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Just be happy that some young kids are getting a chance to experience this great pastime we all enjoy.

The information was NOT provided so that I could acknowledged a "resident hero". Rather, a pm with a simple "Thank you" is plenty. At least then I know if the info has been received!!!!

You go off on someone asking ice conditions on a lake, then turn around and spill your guts out to a brand new member, now your starting a rant thread on feeling unappreciated? Classic. Go fishing.

Open up and ask away here. I will answer if I know the particular lake, even give you locations and pointers if I can. Had a member a few years question me on this but I told him I was just helping out, there is lots of lakes and fish out there!

I didn't realize trolling hard wTer was possible?

Seems to me I recall a thread where someone was asking advise on ice conditions, when someone else answered "do what everyone else does and check for yourself". I can't remember who it was...... Wait a minute, I know exactly who it was.

Happy fishing boyz.

I always tell people my lure set up, depth of water, ice conditions and place I could care less. There's plenty of fish to be caught. Acknowledge it or not I know I helped someone out so that's what counts.

Take a chill pill an like talking moose said, go fishing.

If you tell me where big fish are and how to catch them, I will definitely thank you and tell everyone you're a hero! :-)
