Default Buck lake (northwest of rimbey)

I was just wondering if anyone's had luck fishing walleye/perch in the winter. I've only ever fished it in the summer and had great success. Any info is much appreciated thanks!!

Caught walleye and pike on a big drop off on west side of the lake a couple winters ago. It was the first time i fished the lake and had no idea where to go. I did well. Went a few times after that and had sucess.

There's a huge volume of water in that lake (very deep for a prairie lake) so the ice might be thinner than surrounding lakes this early ...... so keep vigilant. That lake is known for heavy dangerous heaves and sketchy ice and flood conditions.
