Default Water Level at Little Bow Res.??

I heard a rumor that they were going to drain LBR down again to do more work. I'm suppose to take from family of a friends out (they are from South Africa and have never seen snow never mind ice fished before), and I'm just wondering what the water/ice situation is.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone out there know how much water there is in the lake?

I don't need your hotspot, I just don't want to waste a drive out there with some excited rookies to find out that there is not enough water to fish.

last time i was out there was in early oct and the lake was up to normal levels but access was hard because the construction on the dam was in full swing and had tons of heavy equipment running back and forth. i also wanted to get in and fish but looking at the situation i wasn't sure if we(public) was allowed in the area for safety wise.
