Default Wife got her buck.

My wife got this guy while stillhunting this morning, after not tagging a buck the last couple seasons. A pretty decent way break the streak, I was sure happy for her when I heard that shot!

Please enjoy the moment with her and dont feel the need to mention that “its not a monster”.
People are burning so much fuel and acting like morons out there trying to get a famed monster.

Put a legal animal down and enjoy every second of it. Its a whitetail buck, great job to the wife!!!!!!

I guess I feel the need for modesty so that the trophy jocks don't feel the need to point such things out for me. It was a mature animal, well hunted and cleanly killed, we were both happy with the results.

I'd say that's a fine buck to hang a tag on. Congratulations to her. Looks like she put the shot in the perfect spot to make it a quick kill. Outstanding.

And that is what counts !!

Nice deer that will provide meat for the freezer, a mount if so desired, and some great memories.

That's a Savage Ladyhunter in .270, I had some missgivings about spending that much on a Savage when I bought it, and getting her a rifle that light in a .270..... but she really wanted it and 4 seasons later she still loves that thing. Theres probably a lesson to be learned right there.

Love seeing this, my wife took her first deer last year, the youngest daughter and a boyfriend took their first this year . It's terrific to have family involved.

Thanks for sharing Mam ....... Nice buck, I hope I get one like that or bigger next week .
