Default Fishing closures and boating

I know we can't fish in most lakes ,if not now but in a few days, but I just got a new to me bass type boat. Probably a dumb question but is it still ok to drive a boat on these lakes without fishing. I just gotta try this thing out, it's drivin me nuts looking at it.

As long as you have no fishing gear in the boat I don't see it as an issue.

No different than a guy taking out his wave boat for an early run.

Default Gates

Another thing to beware of is some lock the gates to the boat ramps and you cant get down them in some cases.

I'm working for two more weeks then have a week off, thought about pine lake as the wind is usually better there as compared to badger, mcgreger, Pcr or ghost and there's a public boat launch there

Default Everything is wide open

Everything south of Calgary is pretty much wide open now. Just pick your spots carefully and check regs if you are planning to fish.
