So asking for some help/ideas on what type of bait/jigs/spinners) to use when fishing on the Bearspaw dam and what depth should I be looking for to fish at. I have permission to go this winter through private land access to the dam.

For trout...first thing I would try is to jig something silvery. Then I would try one of those little rapala darters, a small one. Let me know what it was like. I grew up in Calgary but never had the chance to try this place, and probably never will since I don't know any locals there. Good luck!
