Piles of new rifles from entry level to high end and all sorts of hunting , fishing , and camping accessories as well.

Also nice to buy some of the guns on sale at that Canadian tire.

Thank you Cat! From the pics You showed me, The Can tire store in ft Mac is quite impressive, I would have to guess competitive with any store down south for sure! And your help locating the pilots is greatly appreciated!

Itís a great store. Glad to have it.
Eley ammo yes
No cci velocitors....yet
They do have mini mags and stingers
A real good selection of center fire cartridges and if your watching for sales you can get good ammo deals and firearm deals. Fishing section is nothing to sneeze at either.

Plethora? damn, you've been at the Reader's Digest again, haven't you.

That is one great looking store. Haven't found one in Edmonton anywhere near that well stocked.

I have never been to the Ft Mac CT but the one on the south side of Edmonton off 23 Ave sure impressed me last time I was there. Was the only store I tried in Central AB with a 7-08 Micro Midas. They had some great sales on and the guy behind the counter was all about service. If Wholesale sports would have hired people like him Iím sure they would still be around.

I'm impressed! Back when we were kids CTC was "the place" to buy outdoor stuff. Now 60 years in the future...ÖÖÖÖÖÖÖ..CTC is a place where you can create a Canadian Tire Wedding Registry.

Default Canadian tire

Iím so disappointed in the Manning crossing Canadian tire in Edmonton. They spent more on their ď Canadaís hunting and fishing storeĒ sign than they did on their inventory. Not sure why they would set up right next to Cabelas and then give such a feeble attempt?

Had a chance to visit the Calgary Shawnessy location a couple of weeks ago and was impressed. The one thing I like about some of the CT locations is they aren't keeping the rifles behind a counter. That's a pain in the arse in any gun shop and means you need a floor sales person around to answer whats what.

Shawnessy and Rocky Mountain House got it right. 2 feet in front of you behind glass, floor and eye level, prices where you can see them. Let's a guy do some close up browsing without having to track down a 19 year old part timer to ask what's what....which is pretty much always.

Shawnessy and Southland Canadian tides are both decent for their firearm section. Shawnessy better with the rifles and shotguns themselves, Southland better with the accessories. Southland has all the firearms in glass display behind the counters and that is a pain for sure. I’m not “old” but my eyes still aren’t good enough to read this tags. And they are mixed so bad to never really know what cartridge any of them are chambered in.

Both of those stores need some work on organizing their firearms but it’s a good start.
