What a great bear.....when you said that you were 6'3" that really puts into perspective the magnitude of that bear. Congrats on a trophy of a life time........Marco

Thanks for the support guys. I do feel pretty spoiled for getting such an nice boar at such a relatively young age. The skull should fall somewhere around 19.5 inches. He was definitely in the prime of his life, and his teeth show the signs of beginning to wear down.
Getting a rug done on him. Already excited to be getting it back!

As for "the crocs" comment, they are great in camp footwear . Especially on such a warm weekend such as the one we just had.

Easy to slip on and off going into the trailer and such.

Hey I'm not telling you what to do with your bear but if you rug it the true size will never be shown. That is a once in a life time bear. I'd be taking him to Marco for a life size mount. Congrats

Congrats Derrick! Man that's a nice bear. Seems like just yesturday that we harvested that nice black together up that way. I'll have to stop by and check him out one day. Congrats again man and say hi to the family for me.
