Default McGregor Lake

Hello, I am new to McGregor Lake (and this forum). I was wondering if there is a good choice for fishing from shore. It looks like the deepest part is on the east side, for example south on range rd 220. But maybe the fishing is just as good from nearer the campground? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

THe fishing is decent along the dam at the north of the lake and also at the bridge that crosses the lake in the middle.

Hey, I was out there couple weeks ago, and we were hitting pike and walleye right off the campground at the edge of the tall grass, nice cabbage patch right there just using white jigs with red heads. Also saw people catching some decent walleye right off the rocks just off the road by the camp ground!

The big weed bed right of the campground catching tons of walley. using shad wraps and perch rapalas. With that many fish they'll bite anything as long as it looks right!
