Question Some Good Perch Lakes?

Hey Everyone Happy New Year!
I was just wondering if there are any good Perch lakes around Calgary. I live in New Brighton SE Calgary and can't go to Sundance or any other private lakes or anything. Willing to drive about 2 hours at the most, maybe 2 1/2. I really like catching perch, I will be C&R. I just want to catch some Perch really bad but don't know any good lakes...? Is Burnstick good? Any Tips for Burnstick?

All Appreciated, Thans

i thought you were the fishing master though
haha just kidding
theres a bunch of lakes/potholes in the burnstick area.
Phyllis lake has tons of perch and trout
gull lake has fewer perch but alot bigger
tay lake your allowed 15 perch
cow lake has perch but reports are saying its slowed right down.
lethbridge has tons of places to catch perch
including henderson, nic sheron the university pond.

check out barry mitchells fishing guide its about 10 bucks and it has just about every place to fish in it and it will tell you how to get there, whats in there and the sizes of fish in there and has the main magazine in it aswell.you can get it at just about every fishing store including superstore and walmart.

I like to use anything small and gold and jig near the bottom.
five of diamond spoons tipped with minnows works great to weed out the smaller perch. Sandy bottom near/in weeds is a good place to start looking and dropoffs and humps shouldnt be over looked.

in cow lake you can fish perch right under the dock there by the campground.

I wouldn't waste your time driving down to Lethbridge for perch fishing.

Most of the perch around here are pretty small. You may get lucky to find a big perch if you were to fish the Lethbridge ponds that were mentioned but they aren't very good.
