Last weekend. Couldn't even get a bite. Does anyone know where to catch walleyes on this lake in the winter?

Go behind the main island towards mud bay. Shallow and weedy in there. Big cove on the east end by the narrows of the island. Try for perch.

Really, perch at Pinehurst? There must not be many numbers for perch there though, right?

Pinehurst has its fair share of perch, they just aren't targeted that often.

I find if you fish off the main points in the lake in 25-30 feet of water early morning as sun rises or late as the sun sets you can pick up the odd walleye. Usually only half hour of action then no walleye the rest of the day. I'm sure other people have them better figured out than me. My catches are usually incidental cause we usually try for pike out there. Have caught a few nice perch randomly while trying for walleye though. Maybe only caught three but all around 12 inches.
