Default Snow Shoes required Upper K

Hit upper K on Friday, lots of snow up there, about 22" on the upper lake. If your planning on going skis or snow shoes highly recommended. It was snowing but for a change no wind and very mild. Had a great day fishing, iced 7 cuts and 2 bulls, missed a few others. All by my self up there, could hear geese on the open water on the lower lake. Heres a couple of pic

Glad to see more snow there. One of my most favorite places to be. Spend lots of time hiking, camping, and snowshoeing there.

That is why I go during the week whenever possible. Way too busy on the weekends.

It should improve this year with the new changes in the regs that start April 1I fly fish it in the summer and have good luck, don't be afraid to walk a bit and get away from everyone else

That is usually what I do. If I do go on a weekend, I find most people stay close to the parking lots. But if I hike it for a bit, I can usually find a spot all alone and get into fish.

What fly do you typically use? I just have not had any luck.
