Default 5 surgeon last 2 Fridays!!!

Hey guys I've managed to land five sturgeon in that last two night trips last Friday and last night thought I share some of the pictures.
My smallest and my biggest both got away the second I unhooked, before I could snap a picture.

Good stuff definitely an amazing times. I haven't caught one at all this year but last year jad many nights with more sturgeon than any other fish over ever caught in one night a on the ol nsr. Good job

Congrats. Looks like fun. Stupid question, never caught or held a sturgeon, are they slimey like pike?

Have you ever held a sheet of sandpaper
Feels similar very very rough skin, be very careful smaller ones have scutes which are like razors

congrats og. You don't say if your fishing the nsr or ssr. It has been a great year for sturgeon on the nsr.
