Default sylvan lake

could anyone tell me if there driving on the lake, thinking on going Sat to try for some whites. Thanks D

Don't drive on, some people are reporting as little as 6" of ice, some others a foot. A quad went through near the skating area in town this week, hit a thin spot, two people sent to hospital but OK. There are thin spots, just not worth it yet.

i agree don't drive on. i also heard a quad went though at sylvan, a car went though at ghost (there is a post with a link to pic).its only ice fishing its not going away just yet. no sence in risking your life.

Default And yet..

Last week I was fishing Sylvan just west of Marina Bay. I heard a very loud truck so I looked out to see how close it was. This guy, in a great big souped up Ford, was dragging a rather large shack across the lake at probably 30kms an hour. And a side by side goes through!!!!! Go figure. BEL
