Default Top 10 Mexican fishing destinations

Hi all.

Just wondering if anyone has a top 10 general places to fish list in Mexico.

I have heard of Cabo San Lucas, Baja...where else...sea charters.

I also heard there are guides for peacock and florida largemouth somewheres.

I can't give you ten, but they say Mazatlan is the top fishing destination. They were advertising Trophy Bass fishing about two hours from Maz, at the same place I rented my Panga's. They wanted $600 Canadian for a day of Bass fishing.

Cabo has the best of both worlds, Blue water offshore fishing, and the calmer waters of the Sea of Cortez.

Puerta Vullerta (sp?) is one of the tops for sure...some amazing fishing if you time it right.

Puerto Vallarta is a great place to fish.Oct-Nov is the time for Sail fish and Marlin, they have a Marlin derby in Nov every year. Just got back on sunday. $450 for 10 hours of fishing, caught 6 Benito and 3 Yellow tail approx 30-35 lbs. No sailfish or marlins spotted, that's why it's called fishing and not catching but lot of humpback whales feeding on sardines. If need a contact let me know and will steer you in the right direction. Mostly Rooster Fish, Red Snapper, Benito, Yellow Tail caught this time of year.
