i drive down to cal. every month or so and would like to try dickson pond as i've heard of the big bows. can someone tell me if the road is paved, as im driving a cube van and it's rough on dirt roads for a quick side trip.

Paved all the way. Just take the south exit into Innisfail and go west to Spruce View, turn at the sign and away ya go.
