Default Fishing with kids

Hi all, taking the kids fishing and camping this week in k country. When fishing with kids, does their catch count against my limit, or are they on their own limits?
The regs are somewhat unclear on this and I don't want to be in any violations that will ruin the fun.
Thanks in advance.

As long as the kids are able to fish on their own, ex. cast and reel in, they are able to retain their own limits.

Let me know where you go and how you make out in K Country. I went there with my 2 kids a week ago (Grotto) and we were skunked. Not one bite!
I think the warm weather had something to do with it.

I'm keen to get back out there but would like to know that others are getting some fish before I hit it again. Thanks...

Yes give an update! I need to catch a fish before the seasons over nothing but bad luck so far. Need kid friendly spots as well.
