You could just take the handle off and thread a nut on and then use a nut driver. Wish I had a cannon!

If you don't want to be too fancy, replace the handle with a joiner nut and braze an impact socket on one end. The socket should give you a good hand grip. Not fancy, kind of homely, but should work.
