Has anyone every fished Mornville Reservoir? I got a PM from someone telling me it was good. If you do fish it what do you use?

I went there on Monday June 8th for a few hours. Caught a few small ones, 6 inches or so using pink powerbait. They were nibbling pretty consistantly but the wind was pretty strong so we packed it in early.

I know this was last year but I managed to catch a 14 incher outta there , using slip bobber and dew worm .But like most are saying small 6 inchers , but the bigger fish are in there lots of food for them in that lake. Cardiff is also another good spot in my opinion especially for larger rainbows.

Thumbs up Bait

The pond at mornville use a dark green small jig head with 1 maggot to cover the barb. The trout is eating cray fish in the shallow waters.

Cool Mornville Pond Perch

Through the years I have only seen the odd perch over ten inches. There are some people who like to keep perch the size of three toonies lined up.
Apparently these are good in soup. I myself pefer perch over 10" mark.
I also enjoy super ultra-lite fishing for tiny perch.
Happy Fishin !
