Default interesting find

Me and my uncle just took the dogs to Elliston park for a walk, when we were walking along the water's edge we saw swarm of fry in the water. At first i thought they were tadpoles<frog fry> but it seemed like there was too many of them for that, they look like fish and extremely fast moving. any idea what they mmight be???there must be millions of them in there, i had nothing to capture one with and get a closer look...

good thing is, with all the lead in the ground around there, they would be heavy fish!

Default fry

Where I grew up in Manitoba I used to see something that looked like that all the time. It was catfish fry, bullheads, I think. They looked like a black mass moving just under the surface. I don't know if you have any catfish in southern Alberta, but they can live in just about any quality of water.
