Default Whitemud Creek Ravine Edmonton

So I've been exploring Edmonton as I'm moving there soon and found a nice stream right by my house. Looks shallow in most parts.

Has anyone fished at the Whitemud Crerk by Whitemud Park? Is it good fishing?

On fox drive?
I used to fish there right at the river, but so does everyone else in the city. There is usually someone sitting at the mouth with a pickerel rig.
I've heard of people catching fish further inland, but I've never had luck, and often the water is pretty low and muddy.
