Default For anyone looking into a BUDGET kayak for fishing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke3xkH6usQ8

This is a nice local alberta fellow that shows how easy it is to get a kayak for under 1000 that is already pre rigged with rod holders and dry storage.

great for starters. This is becoming a really popular sport so I just wanted to share incase anyone is looking at a starter yak.

This is also my newest Youtube video. This video shows everyone exactly why I love this sport and I encourage everyone to give it a try. You just cant enjoy fishing like this in a boat. 10 or 15 guys can get out fishing together. You get your privacy if you need from just a short paddle away from the crowd. Everyone is kind and willing to share ideas with fun and laughter.

https://youtu.be/2N1TQph0h8Y

End of the video We raced kayaks. 2 paddle kayaks and 2 pedal drives. I'm not gonna tell you guys who won.

In fact I got one two....did 4hrs in it the other day...people complain about the seat etc but I have no issues with sitting in it for long periods of time...I broke my back twice in the army and now got a hip that needs surgery so that just tells ya this yak is not to dam uncomfortable….I paid 800 bucks for mine at crappy tire in St. Paul....use my garmin up front....behind I have a cooler which keeps my sammiches and etc crap....addicted...you bet...got about 30 hrs in it to date...lakers, pike, eyes and perch have been caught to date....now I want to get out again....

well done and great pointers too!

not too sure about inflatables and fishing? man I got issues periodically with violent headshakes and lures flying all over the places bouncing of the yak...

oh and the other day out laker fishing in the yak got a strike so hard that the front of the rod came out of the holder and whacked me upside the head that's why I don't have a gopro….too much comical gong show yaking going on with me....

The inflatable is actually very rigid and solid. Its kinda like that white water raft type material.
