Default Backcountry fishing trip near calgary

Hey all,

Did a quick search and couldn't find any recent info......

Any ideas for a hike in/backcountry fishing trip near Calgary?

Preferably on public land

Looking for trout, whitefish, perch, anything really

There are lots of lakes in K Country. Some are busy some or not so busy. Rawson Lake, Pickle Jar Lakes, Sparrow's Egg, Chester Lake, Burstall Lakes, Elbow Lake to name a few.

Make sure to check the regs.
