Do you guys know any good places to fish at the lake besides the inlet canal? And do they still charge you $40 to launch your boat?

Just moved there a month ago so I'm wondering the same.
Looks like shore fishing will be hard once the weeds start to grow and right now its pretty low.
Have not had any time to drop a line in anywhere....maybe this weekend.

Get in before the weed growth...usually by the end of June all you catch is salad.....And you'd be surprised what you can catch in shallow water there.....

The docks were built with tax payers money and a bunch of water front owners voted and tax's payers must pay again....
Write your MLA and raise some sh*t....
Maybe the people of Chestmere should pay a road fee of 40 to come into Calgary?

Does anyone know if you can use bait there like smelt to catch the Pike? I saw a guy ones using big chunks of smelt in Chestermere but I wasn't sure if they were allowed to use bait. I'm not sure, because there is nothing that says that you can use bait in the regs. So does anyone know if bait is allowed? Thanks
