Default Anyone had trouble with H4831SC velocities?

I use H4831SC in my 300WM, 270W and 243W with stellar accuracy. A friend has been telling me that he is seeing a huge difference in velocities between Winter and Summer on that powder. Has anyone else noticed that?

I have not noticed that with my loads using it, and some of them see the full range of seasons in the field. It is in the extreme line of powders which are supposed to be less temperature sensitive

How big is the "huge" difference in velocity?

I only chrony when developing a load. What I will say is summer, winter, spring, fall...the rifles and loads have little differences to 1k. Punch in the variables in strelok and make hits....not sure what your buddies talking about but something must be amuck.

I was having so pretty large extreme spreads on a 6-284 many years ago. I tried powders ,primers, weighed case etc. ended up the solution was annealing the necks .

I agree. There is more at play here than the powder.
