TC Encore Barrels

Does anyone know why it seems that barrels for these single shot rifles have disappeared and that the price for the rifle has climbed through the roof?
Currently looking for a barrel for a youth hunter, in a smaller calibre.

I seem to recall them being acquired by Smith & Wesson... maybe they have decided to not make them anymore? I agree though, seem to be pretty pricey and hard to find

aquired by smith and wesson & discontined... barrels availible from eabco minnesota and mgm barrels custom and off the shelf, parts are from Haus of Arms.

Do you guys know if you need a special export permit to ship gun parts (barrels) out of the USA? The manufacturers list above seem to be state side.

nine35.ca stocks the MGM barrels and has a few used take off options for a canadian source.
