Default Sask fishing in July

Hubbie has announced that for our anniversary we will be going fishing for 4 days in Sask, but not quite sure yet where to go. We've had suggestions of Dore lake and Tobin....any suggestions so I can start planning would be greatly appreciated folks! Thanks again!

My pick would be Tobin! I spend a lot of time on that lake and cant say enough good things. Let me know if you decide to go, ill point you in the right direction if you need.

We fish Otter Lake at Missinippe every June for 4 days and it is always great fishing. Thompson camps is quite reasonable for cabins and they do some great fly out excursions right there if you are looking to make a serious memory...

Dore is a big lake and if it's windy you will be stuck at the lodge. in early july the walleye are returning from the spawn on Peter Pond lake (buffalo narrows). I have fished there numerous times and the walleye fishing is unreal. Also Lac La Plonge is great, nice laker and pike fishing and good walleye fishing down the road in the beaver river.

I had a lot of fun in july a few years back in St Brieux and lake Lenore, very close together, 1-2hr drive outside Saskatoon. Tons of Pike and Walleye, easy access for boats and shore fishing. cheers

Default Sask fishing

If u want to stay closer to a city, Last Mountain outside of Regina gives u the best of everything, nice eater walleye to big hogs, jumbo perch, hugh pick, whitefish, carp. Most can be caught from shore or the many points on the lake.
Lake Def is another hot spot.
