Default Fishing the Bow River

Well what do you do on a long wk end and you know someone who knows someone who has land right on the river, well ya wet a line and kill a day cooling off in the river catching fish or at least trying.

And there’s always a few slips off the bank and into the water to keep things interesting!!!

Looks like a nice spot there, and a good way to spend some time.

Looks like you were downstream a fair ways. Always fun playing in the mud

Not familiar with river boats but I guess they have limits too.....so I was knee deep with a nice deeper pocket of water on one side then about 75 yards of shallow water on the other side of me, I was slowly working my way down the river working the deeper pocket and hear a river boat coming, super cool watching this thing with three people on it buzz by but I guess they have limitations to as it grinded it’s way across the rocky bottom and came to a rather abrupt stop, people inside got back on their feet, pushed it and use the oars for a bit to get to deeper water, on their way back up river they ran a deeper line and of coarse we waved at each other.
Was an interesting day on the river, never a dull moment
