Arrow Land available for temp/perm. Offgrid

Hey everyone,

I have 53 acres Im trying to make use of in a few different ways.

Its offgrid with a solar setup, adjoining crown land, 10 min from Peace River, Alberta.

You can camp here, and hunt from here also.

I use this location to live at, and offer it to others for temp or perm living.

Please view the website to get more of an idea.

Thanks!

Sort of reminds me of the old hippy days of the 60's and 70's when people still squatted.

IMO only... I would limit the amount of rentals or buy ins with consideration being that 53 acres will be denuded of firewood fairly quickly unless there is an exposed coal seam somewhere near by. It would be good to set some boundaries as to what can be built too. Example is that some people are packrats and before you know it they have all sorts of contraptions to discombobulate the natural serenity of the property.

Otherwise it could be interesting with the right blend of people using the property. Interesting way of using the land. The county might not agree with it though.

"The Area Is Teeming With Wildlife. Scores Of *Barred Owls*, Squirrels, Deer, Moose, Elk, Etc Casually Roam The Area. I Even Encountered A Large (Though Harmless) Black Bear. The Barred Owls I Find Particularly Interesting. Dozens Of Them. I Would Like To One Day Raise One As A Pet And Use It For Falconry. If Successful, The Bird(S) Of Prey Will Catch Local Small Game, As Well As Fish From The Nearby Mighty Peace River, Or The Tranquil But Immense Leddy Lake. This Food Will Be Effortlessly Delivered To Whomever Is Present On The Land Or Is Familiar With The Apex Predators."

This is an excerpt from the website. Seems a bit odd to me...

Might be waiting for a while if he's expecting an owl to bring him a fish. The whole thing seems a bit pie in the sky, but good luck!!

Interested in trades?

I could offer enough nylon rope to build the whole cooperative.

How did you get the county to agree to sub-divide five acre parcels?
