When they put him in I thought OMG
But it worked.
Wife and I always have to bet on these 2 teams, her brother is asst. coach for Boston. She has tried to convert me, but the Flames are my team.

Schlemko had more moves than Exlax for that goal....well done kid! Huge win for the Flames.

Schlemko ?????? Looked more like Patrick Kane.
Great move. Hope he's got more.

There's no quit in this team. Fun to watch

Thumbs up

Another great start from Ramo; playing like he did late last season!
Sweet goal by Jooris when it was "do or die".
Then, this...

The Flames continue to defy all logical explanation. The comeback win against Detroit tonight must have everyone baffled. The Wings dominated the zone play and had a zillion chances, yet Calgary surgically dismembered them in typical low-key manner. The opposition continues to scratch their heads while the Flames roll on. Incredible heart shown tonight, and great goaltending for the win.

Very impressive game, they kept their poise throughout, and just kept playing simple gutsy hockey. Russell and Wideman blocked a ton of shots, they both limped off on the same PK after blocking 3? A lot of 'experts' are eating crow over their pre-season predictions for another lousy year and missing play offs. Still nothing locked in, but they sure seem to be motivated to get the job done. A great win tonight.

Default Not a fan But !

At 2 to zip wings I almost went back to real Hollywood Housewives
But what a performance.....the reason wings look ordinary ....is that
They should have brought their own Puck so they'd have something
To play with .
Hartley has them ticking ..... I can't believe the Jamie isn't on here
With both horns going Lol .
Hudler, Wideman what a performance .....even Stajan looked good
Enjoy the ride ....

Just a comment about Flame Fans .....don't tell me Cowtown people
Don't have a heart and a sense of charity . There has been a lack
Of disparaging talk about our poor ugly stepsister to the north .
We just won't kick you when your that far down .

I have to pinch myself each morning. This is crazy, everyone (including me) wrote them off at the beginning. Then they were wrote off when they lost 8 in a row, then they were wrote off for this monster road trip, then they were wrote off with the loss of Geo.

17 games to go and tied for second in the Pacific.

As Sundance said... "WOW"

Good to see them win.
The west just isn't losong any games either tho.
And 3 points from 9th too tho.
Can't get any help from anyone.
Montreal may as well have mailed 2 points to everyone on their road trip.

Coming back from a 3rd period deficit of 4-0 is no simple task. Never count these boys out. Good road trip fellas, it must have been tiring.

Considering they were suppose to challenge Edmonton for the bottom, I would call this a success.

Come on, even you have to give them credit for the courage and heart they show?

If I would have said at the beginning of the year that Calgary would miss the playoffs by ONE point, you would have killed yourself laughing. AT least give them some credit.

Oilers motto is the same as everyone in Alberta just tweaked a bit...
"God give us one more 1st Pick overall. We promise we won't **** it all away again".
Flames are the comeback kids for another night!! Well done boys!!
