Default Cuba bound!

Had such a great time fishing bones and poons last time I am going again. Got a good deal. Now I just need to tie some flies!

I think I may even tie up a few large cuda flies. Saw a couple monsters last time. Still...when ever I have seen big cudas they don't seem interested in slow moving flies...flies stripped in quick. They seem to want boat trolling speed.

Anyone cast to a large 4 foot plus cuda and get a strike?

Sounds like a great time! Where are you going in Cuba and which "outfitter" or is it a DIY?

I got an email that 4 spots came up for March 22-29 with a discount. My buddy and I jumped on two. Seeing if a few others were interested. It is through an fishing travel company called Slipstream.

Went last year and had a great time. Wrote an article about it and planned on going somewhere else this year or next. Then I re-read my article and the next day saw his email.

Had such a great time I could not say no. The best part is each angler has their own guide and boat. No sharing except for rooms.

These flies did me very, very well last year in Cuba. I am going to tie a bunch in these colors.

I will also do some up in pink and in light brown.
