Cat, if I'm not mistaken, these would be backslash guns.

You have the 303 what about doing one of the many wildcats for the 303. Of course the 303 epps is an option but there are others as well. I don't recall them but I read some stuff on it a few years back .I am sure Cat in the hat would be up on them.

I've seen a 22, .6mm, 25, 6.5, 30, 303IMP, 35, all on the 303 case and all with blown out "improved" case walls .
I'm sure there have been a few others as well.
Personally , I have shot the 25 and the 6.5, pretty neat rifles.
one in a No.4 and the other in a Nartini.

Pick something challenging. Involves research and homework. Sharps .45-110.

Exactamundo!
Rifles chambered in the old cartridges . loaed at the bench, tend to slow a person down and let them cncentrate on the finer things of the day, very relaxing!

Please don't buy cheap Norinco guns. I would not want one of those beside me. If you can afford it, buy the Tavor! Small, compact, non-restricted and accurate. The only dumb thing is trying to get after market parts for it. Its a pain and takes a lot of research.

Order a K-31 from the calgary shooting center.
Similar to a .308 but different enough.
Makes for a fun and accurate iron sighted rifle to play with at the range or hunting if so inclined.

Been shooting my old octagon barrel Win 94 in 38/55. Have learned a lot on reloading and casting for this caliber. I've got it shooting tighter groups now. Looking forward to taking it afield.

X2 on Turnbull products. Had a chance to handle a few models. Utmost detail and craftsmanship in their products. Been thinking about pulling the trigger on one of their 1886 45/70's.
