Cold,spray,peerless and minnewanka.

Crowsnest lake has lakers too but have heard they are tricky.

Between Minnewanka, Swan and Spray which would be easier? I have a flasher, but never fished for them before.

I'll add Crowsnest Lake and Waterton Lake to the list.

According to "lakes of the lac la biche region", Touchwood had Lakers as well. But they were unfortunately netted out .

Pyramid Lake in Jasper. Moab Lake in Jasper used to have some really big lakers that would take a fly but that was many years ago!

Andrew Lake, Namur Lake. Haven't been to Margaret Lake North for many years so not sure. Obviously some lakes are more remote and difficult to access than others. Waterton Lakes is another.

Spray is your best bet, also Ghost west of Cochrane has lakers, tough to fish but they are in there. Minnewanka is closed for fishing after labour day. Only open May 15 to labour day.

Emerald lake , which is attached to Crowsnest, is really consistent for catching small, snake sized Lakers.

There ARE big ones in there, I’ve just never landed one. Had a huge one follow my lure up to the hole then bolt off.

Crowsnest has catchable sized lakers.... and a few Hoggs

Little breezy down here at times.

Is that the same Emerald Lake that the Emerald Lake Lodge is at?
It's a beautiful lake, and I'd see people canoeing on it but have never seen people fishing there.
