Default Spray lakes, summer fishing

Hi there, I have ice fished spray a bit and have had good luck, what about summer fishing from the shore. Can one catch anything???

You should have some good luck at at end of the campgrounds. Nice sharp drop off.

How is the water level at spray right now ?? Can boats be launched from Driftwood boat launch ???

You can launch a boat no problem. Long run down to the water, but lots of boat launch left to play with. I was there two weeks ago and had no issues. Upper lake no chance.

Water level is really low by the damn. Rest of the lake is good to go.

I was at Spray early Saturday morning and I couldn't launch my boat at all. The water level was the lowest I had ever seen it in 25 years. I was at the boat launch directly across the west campground and wasn't going to take any chances with a ss prop and even if I did manage to launch my buddies would have had to swim out to the boat We went to minnewanka instead and had a good day..

Saw people shore fishing there 2 weeks ago, don't know how they did. I marked a lot of fish a bit further (past "island" with low water) really sharp drop-off close to shore (castable dist).
