Second highest weights in their 15 year history, lots of big numbers coming out this past weekend. If you didn't have over 20lbs both days you were not even close to the money...

Anyone can get sponsored, you just have to ask the right people. Its not always the fishing industries that do the sponsoring...

Most people that are sponsored aren't getting all kinds of money, free gear and that sort of thing. They are usually getting deals on gear for promoting that companies products.

Very few sponsored sportsmen/women get free stuff.

Last year I had my company sponsor/donate, I got very little most went to prizes which in turn makes everyone happy.

He's not talking about gear! He's talking about fuel, entry..... Tourneys cost alot of money to fish in.

Ya most of the sponsored fishermen/women are not getting the entries, fuel, or cash that people think they are. They are paying that out of their pockets. Most of the time the only thing they are getting for being a sponsored fisherman/woman is a deal on the gear that their sponsor sells.

Kind of makes one think that walleye fishing should be opened with a limit of one or at the very least class A tags should be available.

Kind of makes me think that after 15 years of this lake holding the tourny they can move on to another lake!!

Obviously 15 years of tourneys has not done any harm to this lake, why should they move to another???
