Butcher Lake Fishing

So I was thinking of going and trying to fish butcher lake and I was wondering if anyone had any advice or any report on how the fishing has been. Any advice would be appreciated. Also is it just Brooke trout?

I havent been this year but caught lots last year....I went early morning and the bite was great till about 11 or noon. I think I mostly caught em on leeches chironomids and pheasant tails.
