Default Sealant for planer boards?

Hi guys,
Just made a set of planer boards, i spray painted them bright orange/pink!
Now that they are dry im looking to put some type of varnish/sealant/clear coat on them.

Just to reduce water intake and preserve the paint!
Any recommendations?

Two part fiber glass resin should do it, make sure to wear the appropriate personal protection.

cool, show some pics

when I did mine, I just used marine paint, kill 2 birds one stone. Putting a bungee on the board will give it a little more action

Cool mark one, success.

The maiden outting of DB's planer boards bring in some healthy esox returns , bought 12lb im guess' n .
Boards worked great, a little tweak on chain placement and they will be popping fine. Four fish on,two to the boat.the fish in the pic is going to the pan . Smile for the camera DB.
