Default remington 700ss 5r milspec

anyone out there have a 700ss 5r milspec. I just got one but cant get any info on how many were or are made. I know they are rare but no one seems to know about them. mine is in .300wm ofcourse lol

They are not that rare I know a few people with them in a .308 and they are accurate.I have seen many for sale all over as well.

any idea on how many made i got told 250 no one in the three stores i went to in red deer had heard of one even got told that their was no such thing I ended up getting mine out of the US

Its a pretty good review on the rifle. Says that Remington makes between 250-500 a year. Didn't read anything about one in 300wm though...

thanks fordtrucking. that is a good review and thats the place i ended up getting mine. went with the deployment package and a 8x25 mark4 scope. with the dollar the way it is i saved big on the upgrades dont know how i did on the rifle because i couldnt find one around here

I owned one on 308win for a short while.It was a good rifle,but no better than most other 308win heavy barreled rifles in the same price range.In 308win,they aren't at all hard to find.

easy took 3 weeks but i had to find an exporter. i used leroys in montana cost $50. I had a hard time with my armalite ar 10 in 338 but it got here took about 3 months tho
