Default Federal Premium!!!!

Im thinking about getting the Federal Premium Trophy Bonded Tip in the vital shock series has anybody used this ammo? And what do you think of it? I have a 300 win mag and im not sure what grain i should use 165 or 180?

With that bullet,either weight will do fine.I would probably try the 165gr.

Haven't used the tipped but the Trophy Bonded is a great bullet. If the construction is unchanged then I would say go for it. With the addition of the tip on the bullet, probably cuts through air a little cleaner. As for grain, well, that depends on what you're hunting. You'd probably be fine with either on most.

An excellent bullet for sure. In a .300WM, I'd go 180 grain. I've fouund accuracy to be superior with the 180 in a .300 but as always, your mileage may vary.

It is the only one i shoot in my .300...I think you will like it..

my friend shoots the 180's in his Sako and loves them.
