Default Ice fish finders

Has anyone tried out the Garmin Live Scope ice bundle? It has a pretty amazing live sonar display. Completely different than the Humminbird 2D display.

I'm just seeing it for the first time and thought damn I'm too late. Because I just purchased a Helix 7 a couple of weeks ago. (Replacing the Helix 5 that got stolen when my truck got broken into) until I saw the price. Yowza.

It still looks pretty slick tho. Check it out on YT if you haven't seen it.

I use my Garmin Echomap with the sonar and livescope for ice fishing and it’s pretty sweet. It’s really nice to see how the fish react to my presentation and adjust to get them to strike.

I feel like this post is from like 5 years ago.... Ha ha. This tech has been around for awhile now. All the YouTube guys use it on their vids. It's an absolute must. But yes, still very expensive.

No doubt. Not exactly new technology at this point. Just costs $$$

Up to date just waiting for the technology to get a wee bit better and yup drop the cost too.

the "deals" out there right now are the people selling the LVS32 units so they can upgrade to the 34. But that's about it. I saw one for about 3k last night, which is better than the price of the new 34, but still...Christ, 3k is not cheap.

Default There are deals out there but you have to have the money set aside when they happen.

I bought my Garmin echomap uhd 95sv on a great deal from Cabelas.
Updated my transducer on sale from GPS City. I use my old transducer for ice fishing.
Then I lucked out by getting the panoptics setup for an incredible deal from a great AO member.
Bought a $14 dollar power wheels adapter and power my setup with my Milwaukee batteries.
It was just shy of $2000 bucks for everything.
